During my winter internship at IIT Kanpur I built a drone classification model that works from radar cross-section (RCS) measurements taken at multiple frequencies between 26 and 40 GHz.
The measurements were interpolated with cubic splines across phi–theta angles to build dense RCS patterns for each drone. A classifier trained on those patterns reached 96.6% accuracy in predicting drone type.
